The FiveM server runs the iLGaming-Online GTA V roleplay server using the Qbox framework (v1.23.0).

server.cfg loads resources in this order:

Note

ensure [assets] loads all resources inside the [assets] folder alphabetically. Adding a new ilg_* resource only requires placing the folder — no server.cfg edit needed.

Configuration¶

The server-specific tuning is mainly in two places:

server.cfg — core server settings, Qbox config, NPWD config, loadscreen theme
resources/[assets]/ilg_*/config.lua — per-resource tuning (see Custom Resources)

The brand theme colour is #f1e542 (gold/amber), configured in the loadscreen and ilg_branding resource.

Operations¶

Starting / Stopping¶

The server is managed through txAdmin (web panel). There is no standalone systemd unit — txAdmin handles process lifecycle.

Updating Resources¶

For custom ilg_* resources, edit files in place and use ensure <resource> or the txAdmin restart button. No build step is needed — all resources are plain Lua.

For upstream Qbox/Ox resources, pull the latest release into the corresponding folder and restart.

SQL Migrations¶

Some custom resources include SQL files that must be run manually before first use:

Backups¶

The FiveM server is covered by the automation backup system:

Backup scripts and timers live in automation/systemd/. Install with automation/install-systemd-units.sh.
